Emma Stone shines at Amazing Spider-man premiere in South Korea

“The Amazing Spider-Man” has been reset, recast and redirected for a new film set for the July 4th weekend. Emma Stone co-stars as Peter Parker’s love interest, Gwen Stacy, and she was center of attention at Thursday’s press conference and premiere in Seoul, South Korea.

As the RCFA points out, Stone came primed for the center stage in a blue-and-olive striped top teamed with a black pencil skirt with a cascading ruffle for the press conference.

Hancinema praised the “Zombieland” actress as she started her address with ”Hello, I love Korea” in Korean.

The star of “The Help” added that “We all had very unique experience in Seoul and it was fun. I hope you enjoy the movie that is full of actions and fun moments”.

Stone was asked to describe her character, who she says is a hero in her own right. “Gwen is the daughter of a policy chief and carries a lot of responsibilities. She is also a heroine just as Peter Parker”, claimed Stone.

Her co-star and real life boyfriend, Andrew Garfield, amused the crowd and Stone by kicking his right leg high in the air at the press conference.

Later, Stone and Garfield stepped out at the Lotte Cinema in Seoul for the film’s official premiere.

Spider-Man will battle the Lizard, a reptilian by-product of scientific research gone awry as Peter Parker seeks to understand his lost past and his father’s relationship with the Lizard’s alter ego, Dr. Curt Connors.

Garfield, Stone star alongside Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Irrfan Khan, Chris Zylka, and C. Thomas Howell.

“The Amazing Spider-Man” opens in theaters July 3, 2012.
