John Chambers, Save America Foundation, talks freedom movement, OWS & Presidential candidates

Save America Foundation founder and Executive Director John M. Chambers

John Michael Chambers is the Executive Director of the Economic Advisory Council. He is the founder of JMC Productions, Asset Preservation Institute and Save America Foundation.

The Save America Foundation (SAF), a not for profit organization, is intent on seeing the U.S. Constitution upheld by our elected officials. The foundation informs and educates the public through free online Public Forums and through the SAF Online Education Center.

SAF sponsored two liberty/freedom events: Nullify Now in Jacksonville(October) and the Tri-County Tea Party Convention (November) so Chambers if a great thermometer to gauge the liberty movement on the ground.

Personally meeting and working with John, one adjective always comes to mind first – passionate.

“I’ve worked with the 10thAmendmentCenter and Andrew Nappi and speaking to groups around the country, liberty minded and freedom groups, and when you talk to these movements, this is overwhelmingly well received.”

On the Florida Tea Party Convention he added “In six states that I’ve been visiting, Pam Dahl’s work, her Tea Party organization is the model Tea Party. (It’s) very well structured and organized.”

So what is the role of SAF?

Chambers summarized their mission this way: “(We’re going to ) focus on very specific items, agenda initiatives to rally behind.”

“What we do is a bit unique as we’ve escaped from any problems within to focus on the subject to strengthen strategic alliances. At our most recent meeting we discussed how the organization can work together with others for a common cause.”

John Chambers on these Republican candidates: "Socialist....Federal Reservist....Globalist"

“For example, we can get behind Agenda 21”, Chambers continued, “find things to pull together resources, ideas, contacts and we’ve only begun to scratch the surface of these sorts of things.”

With over a year long campaign cycle ahead to challenge President Obama, I asked the SAF Chair his thoughts on a couple of the Republican candidates.

“Perry is a globalist. Romney is a socialist. Cain is a Federal Reservist.”

On Ron Paul he says it’s “very simple…you know who he is, he’s never flip-flopped. He’s the number one person who has raised awareness and education in our country of the Federal Reserve and the mainstream media has been taking him out of context to make him look like a kook.”

I pressed for more on Herman Cain: “Great speaker…great sound bites and a good Tea Party speaker. But when I did your homework on my own…go watch YouTube, I know he’s popular, a huge success story but his position on the Federal Reserve is completely opposite what I could support.”

What about Dr. Paul immediately jumps out at you as President?

“He really gets it and has been asked about the inflation and how long we have before hyperinflation really kicks in and he says Summer 2012. (What I like) He says the first thing he’d do is undo all of the Executive Orders which are unconstitutional. Then he’d bring the troops home and when he was asked how long that would take, he said ‘How ever quickly we can get them home.’”

Shifting gears I asked about the Occupy Wall Street protests, the message and what his initial impressions were of the rallies.

“I really haven’t followed it very closely or done much homework. If they are and I think that they may be, funded by George Soros and other likeminded people, then they are just a distraction.”

“This is a mechanism to divert attention and get more support for Obama votes by fueling more class warfare.”

“There is a boatload of money our there and control of the mainstream media sources, who are soft for him (President Obama). It’s about pinning problems on Republicans. Jobs Bill, Occupy Wall Street, voter fraud – all to get Obama elected.”

We wrapped up by getting a synopsis of what SAF has in the works and what the passionate John Chambers is devoting his attention to: “travelling and reaching out to people to move more people in Florida towards this message of freedom and liberty.”

“We are working in two dozen counties, different markets and working on developing tech changes to improve the presence on the Internet. I’ll only briefly mention a project set for January (which we will launch) called TrueState.TV.”
