John Wheeler inurned at Arlington, no details on unsolved murder
NEW CASTLE, Del. — A federal defense consultant whose body was found in a Delaware landfill last year will be inurned at Arlington National Cemetery.
Sixty-six-year-old John Wheeler III’s body was found Dec. 31 in a Wilmington landfill. His death was ruled a homicide by blunt force trauma.
An inurnment service for Wheeler, whose government service included a key role in establishing the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, will take place Friday at Arlington.
