Kevin Costner rumored to join Zack Snyder’s ‘Superman’
Deadline.com reports that there are rumors that Kevin Costner may sign on the “Superman” reboot which will be directed by Zack Snyder. Costner’s role is still unknown so the rumors include Brainiac, Jonathan Kent or possibly Perry White.
Henry Cavill (The Tudors) was recently cast as the Man of Steel and graces the cover of the current Entertainment Weekly putting “Superman” as the forefront of Fanboy conversations.
Writer David Goyer revealed his influence from comic book writer Geoff Johns’ “Secret Origin” storyline, so we could easily have a young Jonathan Kent in a flashback or a riveting scene featuring the passing of Pa Kent – either of which would be a good fit for Costner.
Moreover, Johns’ portrayal of Brainiac in his humanoid form could be an interesting challenge for Costner, but this is very unlikely for the award-winning actor.
LatinoReview.com is reporting that Costner will indeed play Jonathan Kent.

Costner is due a comeback.
He made it official – Costner will be Pa Kent
Gotta be papa Kent. He’d be good for it. But they better write in some baseball since all his good movies are baseball or cowboy movies.
