Man tries to rob bridal shop with a rock
According to police, a man in Omaha, Nebraska attempted to rob a bridal store armed with a rock. A man, carrying a rock, walked into Modest Bride on Thursday Jan 6th, around 5:30 p.m.
According to KETV news Omaha, investigators were told that the man demanded, several times, that the store’s clerk open the cash register, while shaking a rock. It was at that point the clerk’s husband came out and the man ran off.
The police apprehended the man several blocks from the bridal shop.
The man, 26 year old Robert Delamotte, was arrested on felony suspicion of attempted robbery, and booked into Douglas County Corrections. His bond is set at $100,000, or 10%.
